TheBeautyAnswer

A problem-first beauty publication designed around what people actually type, think and worry about when something goes wrong.

WHERE IT CAME FROM

I just wanted one place to look.

I started TheBeautyAnswer when I was hunting for tips to fix makeup problems and couldn’t find a single good source for them.

The name sounded right, so I grabbed the domain and built the site for myself and my wife.

THE IDEA

Start with the problem, not the product category.

Most beauty sites begin with topics, products or editorial categories. But a reader with cakey makeup, pilling skincare or an unexpected breakout starts with a problem.

TheBeautyAnswer builds that moment into the structure of the site, so you recognize your problem fast and get a direct path to an answer.

WHAT IT SHOWS

Content strategy is interaction design.

This project shows how search intent, language and information structure can become the interface itself.

  • Problem-first information architecture
  • Search-intent-led navigation
  • Consumer-facing responsive UX
  • Brand and editorial design
  • Clear paths from symptom to answer
